Frequently Asked Question

In order to board, your dog must be up to date with their annual booster vaccinations, these must be given at least 3 weeks prior to their stay to ensure they are protected. We also ask that your dog has the kennel cough vaccination, whilst it does not stop them contracting the virus completely, it will be a much milder dose, much like when we have the flu jab. It would benefit them having this annually anyway as this virus can be picked up anytime on walks, in parks & whilst playing with other dogs. KENNEL COUGH VACCINATION HAS TO BE AT LEASET 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE STAY AS IT IS A LIVE VACCINE. Proof of all vaccinations must be shown well in advance to ensure they are up to date before arrival.
We have lots of blankets, vet bedding & raised beds so do not always require you to bring your dogs bed from home, if you think it will help them settle better you may bring or can bring a blanket from home so that it’s a familiar smell for them.
Yes please, we ask that you bring your dogs usual food so we do not upset their regular diet whilst they stay with us. Please ensure that enough food is sent for the duration of the stay. We have bowls here for food and water, only if your dog has a slow feeder bowl do you need to bring it along. PLEASE DO NOT BRING AND CERAMIC BOWLS.

No, we have crates here of every size to save you having to bring yours.

Yes, please bring along any regular medication your dog requires, we can administer this based on your instructions. We can also store in the fridge if needs be.
Please bring along the food leaving the majority frozen, we can then store this in our freezer and get it out as needed.
If this is the case, you will need to send us a message to see if we are available for you to collect, it may not always be possible, as we don’t open in the afternoons on Saturday & Sunday. If you do collect a day early you will still be charged for the full duration of the stay originally booked.
We will arrange a convenient time for drop off & collection in the week running up to the booking date, this time must be adhered to, as there will be other drop offs/collections before and after.
Definitely! We book up 4/5 months in advance for the Peak Periods/school holidays, so if these are the times you go away, you will need to get these dates booked in as soon as possible.
